All aspects of contract management are handled by the team right from the point new contracts are advertised for tender, assessed and awarded, through to:
- accounts and data management
- regular liaison with contractor representatives on a formal and informal basis to ensure the service is delivered to a high standard
- importantly, making sure effective routes of communication with our service users are maintained so if anything goes wrong it is addressed as quickly as possible and lessons learned for the future
Regular site meetings and inspection visits are undertaken by team members to ensure:
- national environmental and waste legislation is complied with
- our policies and procedures are observed
- health and safety and duty of care obligations are observed
