During 2023 to 2024, we will invest £2.5 million to carry out repairs and resurfacing works at 77 sites.
Repairs will include slurry sealing - a technique using a liquid mix of Tarmac and chippings to repair and seal the existing surface. At some sites, the existing pavement surface will be completely removed and replaced with a new surface to provide a 20-year lifespan.
Our teams will put out signs on the affected streets before work begins.
During May 2024, the following pavements will be repaired with a full surface replacement:
- Rutland Square, Bakewell
- Norfolk Square, Glossop.
