PIN
Many Derbyshire library services require a PIN to access. Your PIN is the first 2 digits and the last 2 digits of your date of birth. So, if you were born on 25 October 1971, your PIN would be 2571. You may change your PIN once you're logged into the library catalogue. Books
We have an extensive collection of fiction and non fiction books for adults and children, including large print books.
They're free to borrow, but there's a small charge if you want to request a specific book.
They're normally borrowed for 21 days and can be renewed.
If they're returned late, charges apply for borrowers aged 12 and over.
Audiobooks
We have a large collection of unabridged audiobooks on CD and tape.
There's a small charge for loaning and requesting audiobooks for borrowers 18 and over.
They're normally borrowed for 21 days and can be renewed.
If they're returned late, audiobook charges apply to borrowers aged 12 and over.
Ebooks
Members of Derbyshire libraries can also join our ebooks service.
Ebooks are free to borrow and are loaned for 3 weeks.
Up to 10 ebooks can be borrowed at a time - this is separate to the limit on physical items.
Ebooks can't be renewed but can be borrowed again.
Concessions
There are reduced charges for concessionary groups.
