Have you ever seen a crossed-out wheelie bin sign on any of your products? This means that you should not throw them away in your bin.

Recycle your small electrical items

To recycle your small electrical items, take them to your nearest household waste recycling centre.

Electrical items include:

  • fairy lights 
  • coffee makers 
  • electric toothbrushes
  • game consoles 
  • irons
  • kettles 
  • lamps 
  • laptops, tablets and PCs
  • phones 
  • power tools
  • printers 
  • radios 
  • sat-navs
  • slow cookers 
  • straighteners and hairdryers  
  • washers and dryers
  • fridges, freezers and fridge-freezers
  • microwaves

Please remove personal data from items such as laptops, mobile phones or tablets.
