What this consultation is about
In 2020 we worked with partners within the Joined up Care Derbyshire Dementia partnership to develop a strategy which sets out plans for improving services for people with dementia.
We are now working to update this strategy for another 5 years.
We want to know if the current priorities in the dementia strategy should remain the same or whether we need to consider new priorities. We are mindful that there is only so much money and capacity to deliver support for people living with dementia and those who care for them. We want to ensure that we understand what is most important to the people of Derby and Derbyshire. We want to hear from as many people as possible, people who are living with dementia, their carers and people who work in dementia health and care services in Derby and Derbyshire, as these are the people the strategy is for.
