Visit Derbyshire Preparedto keep informed and prepared for possible emergencies. Our aim is to make arrangements to protect people and the environment in Derbyshire and reduce the effect on them from an emergency.
We have emergency plans in place to cope with the most likely risks to affect Derbyshire and we have joint training and exercises throughout the year to make sure we're ready.
The Derbyshire Local Resilience Forum is responsible for the overall direction and policies of emergency planning, to ensure the effective delivery of our duties under the Civil Contingencies Act.
